TAESS00014 Enterprise Trainer – Presenting Skill Set
The TAESS00014 Enterprise Trainer – Presenting Skill Set course is designed for those wishing to deliver nationally recognised units of competency, or non-accredited training, within a workplace. While people in these roles are not formal trainers and assessors, they are still able to train under the supervision of a TAE-qualified trainer, usually for small groups and individuals.
As stated in ASQA’s Standards for RTO’s 2015, a person that does not hold the required competencies of a qualified trainer and assessor,
- must be formally supervised
- must not determine assessment outcomes
- must have current industry skills and knowledge
- must hold the applicable Skill Sets
The TAESS00014 Skill Set is offered by Distance Learning. Part of the course requires you to deliver a presentation, which you can do by attending one of our Presentation Workshops (free), unless you have access to a qualified trainer, as detailed below. You will need access to a computer that has Microsoft Word, Adobe Reader, and the internet. You will also need to record yourself, using a recording device such as a webcam or smart phone, completing some assessment activities.
You will be given access to the course materials electronically or as a hard copy, as well as:
- email and phone support from a dedicated trainer
- recorded tutorials to guide you through the assessments
- private Facebook group for TAE distance learning students for additional support
- private Facebook group for TAE graduates
The BSBCMM401 Make a presentation unit requires you to undertake assessments under the supervision of a qualified trainer / assessor. You can do this by either:
